Final Scene: The Clock & Shelves

I wanted to link these 2 shots together as they're recycled from the first scene. The clock more so than the shelves, although the shelf layout and the use of symmetry is the same.
I used the same colour palette from the opening shot of the clock in the first scene for consistency. I've obviously changed the time though, to signify that it's later on in the same day.
It's very simple and nearly the same as the opening shot. The only difference is the time on the clock. I think it's a good shot to introduce the house interior as the film has come full circle. The 4 seconds also helps to set up the timings for the rest of the shots in this scene. It helps to set a rhythm.

I decided to continue with the background colour for fluidity and consistency, plus it helps to offset the other colours I've used in this scene really well. I wanted to use natural and muted colours whilst still retaining some vibrancy. I think that the blue, green, red, and brown works really well. For the animation I think that like the plant shelves I'm just going to add some light rays and dust, but in the opposite direction. The light rays will be moon light instead of sun light, due to the change of time.
This is the final shot I want to use for the scene. I think it's reminiscent of the opening scene without plagiarising it. I've lightened the rays and taken the warmth out of them as well, in order to show that it's moon light instead of sun light. I think that this is really nice scene and it sets up the interior of the house nicely.
