The Credits

The mountain scene is the one shot in my film that I'm most visually proud of. It took a long time to create the landscapes and they're beautiful and breath taking. I thought that it would be a real shame if I couldn't incorporate their entirety into my film, so I thought that it would be a really good idea to use them as my credits sequence.
I knew that I wanted the credits sequence to be 30 seconds long, the same as the main theme tune, so I decided to see if a animated segment of the mountain landscape turning from day to night would work.
I decided to use the lush day time one as morning, the wheat sky one as afternoon, then sunset, and night time. I'd also animated birds and clouds flying throughout the scene, so long as they wouldn't detract from the information in the credits.
This will be my final credit scene for my film. I'm unbelievably happy with it. I'm so glad that I managed to get a long mountain sequence into my film somewhere, it would have been such a waste if I hadn't used it.
As for the music, Theo re-recorded the main theme for me to use in this as obviously the one he'd sent me before was just a rough draft. I thought they both sounded lovely but it was nice of him to do this for me. I'm really happy with how the music and the text match each other - I want to try and do this with the final score for my film as I think that it looks and sounds really nice, almost like the music and the animation is dancing with each other. I think that this credit sequence rounds the film off really nicely - I'm incredibly happy with it.
