I'm incredibly pleased with how this scene has turned out. There are lots of different shots within this scene which possess varying degrees of complexity and I think that they really compliment each other well. After introducing the character of the witch in the opening scene as well as her environment, this scene works well by introducing the plot and helping to reveal the narrative to the audience in a subtle, yet clear and understandable way. I'm pleased that I used After Effects while creating this scene as I've never really used it that much before except when editing my film together - it's definitely a program that I need to learn for my future career in this industry. Photoshop is good to animate with but it will only take me so far. The next thing I really need to concentrate on is getting a sound designer and composer on board. As this is the scene where the music starts this would be a good time to try and reach out to someone.
