For this shot, the last one in the scene, I wanted to arrive back at the house. I thought about recreating the wide shot of the house and the lake, but I decided against it as I'd already recreated 3 other scenes. It needs a new one. I still want it to include the house, but possibly using a tighter shot.
This is the shot that I came up with and that I'll use for my final film. I'm very happy with it. I decided to keep the animation of the fireflies as they're very calming, dreamy, and relaxing. The lighting that I've used is very comforting and welcoming, I want the audience to feel like they're being invited in despite seemingly watching the house from a hiding place in the foliage. This also acts as a good transition shot. The next part of the film is inside the house again. By having the lights on the audience already knows that they're back inside, and I didn't have to animate them actually going back inside - I saved a lot of precious time by doing this.
