The House Moodboard

These two illustrations provide huge inspiration for my film, in particular, the opening. I love the lighting in these images + would love to convey something similar by experimenting with different lighting to show different times of day/different moods. I want the house to have large windows and to be full to the brim with all sorts of plants - lots of tea?
For my opening shot I want boiling water to be poured into a pot and a mug to be steaming in her hands - zoom out and she's actually levitating. This will then introduce the magic element into an otherwise very normal way to start your morning.
I either want the house to look like it's being held together by magic or incredibly neat so as to be as inconspicuous to an untrained magic eye. The outside of the house may be a recurrent shot to show time of day + changing of seasons.
I'm not sure whether or not to properly plan out the house or whether to just create some impossible architecture - another signal of her magic.
I'd like the house to be made of wood and to be very attractive rather than a typically 'spooky' witch's cottage in the woods. Perhaps even a tree house as she is a botanical witch. Did she grow the house herself?

I want to take inspiration from wooden log cabins to create the house - gable roofing, deep in the forest, a porch + decking. Lots of fairy lights = or real fairies? Enchanted wood land cottage. Grimm's fairy tales inspiration? Do i want it to be a 'dark' story or shall I stick to a light vibe/atmosphere.
Again wondering about the watercolour landscapes or perhaps hand drawn house then coloured afterwards on photoshop. I want to buy some grid paper to make the house 'architecturally correct'. I want to design the house from scratch myself. Shall I create blue prints?
I want to incorporate geometric shapes into the house. I need to research proper witchcraft/pagan symbols, sigils + runes. I think it will be interesting to add these into the architecture and interior design of the house as it would help to give the house more of a magical and 'witchy' feeling.
Does she draw power from the house?
I know that I want the house to have a massive window. Possibly have some of the the house as an actual green house with greenery, flowers + plants everywhere. The lighting is very important in this film to convey mood and atmosphere.
I like this image above as it is very simple. If the interior was very luscious and intricate inside it would help to add to the feeling of 'impossible architecture' E.g. how the Doctor's tardis was bigger on the inside - would really add to the magical element.
